Keep your cars locked! Tuscaloosa PD Lt. Teena Richardson warns of a big increase in car burglaries.

54 car burglaries reported in February. Most of those cars were unlocked according to Lt. Richardson. Some of those car owners left keys inside with the engine running.

The cops say be smart. Don't leave valuables in view & lock your doors. Car burglars are on the prowl in Tuscaloosa. Don't make it easy for them.
