Tuscaloosa Police Department Investigating 3 Separate Shootings in Tuscaloosa That Happened Over the Holiday Weekend
Three shootings have occurred in Tuscaloosa since Sunday evening, and the Tuscaloosa Police Department is currently investigating these violent incidents.
WVTM 13 in Birmingham reports that the TPD is investigating the following shootings:
Sunday evening in the 100 Block of 49th Avenue East: a man reported he was talking with friends when someone started shooting; he was hit and later transported to DCH for treatment.
Sunday night in the area of 14th Avenue and 19th Street: a 23-year-old man was out walking when a black SUV pulled up and someone shot him in the leg and ankle before driving off. The victim was transported to DCH for treatment.
Monday Night on 18th Street: a 58-year-old man was shot while at a party; he was transported to DCH for treatment.
