The Tuscaloosa Police Department made a gambling bust yesterday, and now three area men are facing charges. The TPD posted details on the bust via its official Facebook page this morning.

TPD, with the assistance of the West Alabama Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant for a home in the 1700 Block of Veteran's Memorial Parkway East on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. While there, officers found evidence of illegal gambling including betting slips and what officers describe as evidence of a "drive thru bingo operation."

Two men were arrested at the scene, and a warrant has been issued for the third. Dondrick Tyone Wright, age 38, and Kerry Mundell Knight, age 35, both of Tuscaloosa, were arrested on charges of promoting gambling and held at the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $500 bond. A warrant has been issued for Demetrich Tryrone Curry, age 35 of Cottondale, for charges of promoting gambling with a $500 bond.
