Six people died in Northport/Tuscaloosa when a small aircraft flying from central Florida to Oxford, Mississippi, developed engine problems and crashed.  The pilot reported engine troubles and attempted to land at Tuscaloosa's Regional Airport.

Firefighters made it to the site within three minutes of the crash but were unable to save any of the six people on board according to Mayor Bobby Herndon.

The victims are 3 married couples from Oxford, Mississippi who leave behind 11 children.  Please pray for the families involved in this terrible plane crash today and listen for more updates on 95.3fm The Bear.
