A YouTube video of a suspect identified as Brandon White striking a cat with a belt went viral on November 2nd and a warrant has yet to have been issued. 

Immediately, The Humane Society of the United States offered a $500 reward for information in the case. Now Tuscaloosa CrimeStoppers is offering an additional $1000 reward.

A press release from Tuscaloosa Police Department states,

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the date and approximate time the video was made and the location of where the video was made to please contact us, as these are crucial pieces of information we need to request an arrest warrant.
The Human Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $5000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for assaulting the cat. Tuscaloosa County CrimeStoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1000 for information.
