Tuscaloosa Community Walk to Stop Diabetes – September 27th
Did you know that in 2012, 29.1 million Americans, or 9.3% of the population, had diabetes. Of those 29.1 million, 21.0 million were diagnosed, and 8.1 million were undiagnosed.
Those statistics from the National Diabetes Statistics Report are alarming! With events like ‘Walk to Stop Diabetes,’ The American Diabetes Association needs our help to curve these numbers and possibly eliminate them.
The Tuscaloosa Community Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place in Bama Belle Park on Saturday, September 27th, 2014. Registration opens at 8am and the walk begins at 9am.
