Today, the Tuscaloosa City Schools system is celebrating the 50th day of school.  Students and faculty were encouraged to dress in 50's gear. We were able to grab a few photos at Woodland Forrest Elementary this morning.

In addition to the faculty, staff, and students dressing in 50's wear, there are decorations reminiscent of that era as soon as you enter the doors of the school.  Records are hanging just inside the door, and there's an old-fashioned milkshake stand in the corner of the foyer.

I also got a quick picture of my daughter and niece, who helped me take their "party" goodies to their classroom.

This is such a fun event!  I know I'm not the only one who got pictures of their children.  Care to share yours with us?
