Sony Pictures Classics has released the first images of Tom Hiddleston who's set to star in the upcoming biopic film charting the life featuring legendary American country singer Hank Williams.
I Saw The Light is scheduled for release on November 27th, 2015 and is based on Colin Escott’s biography of Williams and will include actors Elizabeth Olsen, Bradley Whitford, Cherry Jones and Maddie Hasson.
“Hank’s life has a tragic arc, but in simple truth, he was a genius: a star that burned twice as bright and lived half as long,” Hiddleston says. “It’s a huge role for me and a huge responsibility. I’m going to give it everything I’ve got.”
Hank Williams III may have his doubts but he can't deny the amazing resemblance between the actor and his grandfather.
