The smallest A-Day crowd since Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa was still large enough to top the rest of college football in 2014.

The Alabama spring game totaled 73,506 fans, which was down from an average of close to 85,000 during the Saban era. Easter weekend probably had something to do with the 'small' turnout, but the Crimson Tide can once again stake claim to having the largest attendance in the nation. Penn State finished second with 72,000.

AL.com recorded this time lapse video showing fans filing into Bryant-Denny Stadium as the gates opened at 11 AM all the way through the end of a 17-13 White team victory.
