Three-time NASCAR Champion and NASCAR Hall of Famer Darrell Waltrip at Samford University Tuesday

NASCAR Legend Darrell Waltrip will be at Samford University Tuesday in Birmingham, on behalf of Talladega Superspeedway.

Waltrip will talk all things NASCAR and Talladega Superspeedway with students. Topics will include: being a Christian in motorsports, being in the sports broadcasting industry, a day in the life of a NASCAR driver, what it is like to compete at NASCAR's Most Competitive track, and Talladega's College initiative.

There will be a cookout afterwards with prizes, raffle, and silent auction to raise money for “Feed The Children.”

The event will take place at Samford University, Journalism & Mass Communications Department, 800 Lakeshore Drive in Birmingham and will begin at 11am.
