Three Killed In Green Co., Including Toddler, In Suspected Drag Racing Crash

Two adults, ages 22 and 30, and a 3-year old boy were killed during a possible street race in Greene County on Saturday night. Nine bystanders were also transported to area hospitals including Greene County Hospital, DCH Regional Medical Center, DCH in Northport and Children's of Alabama in Birmingham.

Al.com reports the crash happened at approximately 5:30 pm Saturday night on Greene County Road 231 near Eutaw. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Reginal King indicated drag racing may be a factor.

The investigation into the crash is in the early stages and no arrests have been made at this time.
