This Axe Makes Me Want To Chop Things

Photo: Heikki Kama

A 74-year old man from Finland moved to a gloomy forest and decided he was tired of clearing land with a traditional axe so he designed a new one.

The Vipukirves Axe promises to create a pile of wood in seconds due to the redesigned head that creates torque and other stuff related to physics that I’ve never really understood. Whatever happens, this axe is straight-up amazing.

The axe retails for around $280 bucks and comes with a 10-year warranty, but it’s currently out of stock.

The video below shows what makes the redesigned axe so amazing and I’ll admit, I’m tempted to see if splitting a log is as easy as it looks.
