These America on Tap Beers Will Test Your Taste Buds

With more than 100 craft brews available, Tuscaloosa's America on Tap Beer Festival will have something that everyone will want to try.

Whether you've been expanding your palate with craft beers for years or you are dipping your toes into the water for the first time, this event fits your needs. From 2:30-6:00 PM on Saturday, some of the best craft beers from around the region, state, and country will be poured at America on Tap. There will even be a handful of international beers for you to try.

We went through the list of beers and identified five that we think will test your taste buds with bold flavors and unique combinations.

Habanero Sculpin
Ballast Point Brewing Company
This American IPA takes the fruit notes and hoppiness of the company's original IPA and adds a nice heat that compliments the flavor of the beer. This limited availability production checks in at 7.0% ABV.
Blueberry Oatmeal Stout
Buffalo Bill's Brewery
This winter beer will be coming out of hibernation for America on Tap Tuscaloosa and it packs a lot of flavor. This full-bodied stout combines the rich flavors of oatmeal and blueberries to produce a robust beer at 7.5% ABV.
Archer Apple Brown Ale
Horny Goat Brewing
An unforgettable brewery name presents a seasonal beer that might make a strong impression of its own. This brew combines a french-pressed Wisconsin apple cider to the brown ale's traditional chocolate and caramel malts for a unique flavor profile.
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
Lexington Brewing Company
Created in the heart of bourbon country, this award-winning beer has a ton of flavor. After aging in freshly-emptied bourbon barrels from local distilleries for up to six weeks, the Kentucky ale takes on the sweetness and oak from the wood.
Twisted Pretzel Wheat
Shock Top Brewing Company
The folks at Shock Top usually have some pretty intriguing seasonals for beer festivals and America on Tap won't be any different. This Belgian-style beer takes on the aroma and taste of fresh pretzels for a combo that we already know pairs well together.
