You just might see Taylor Swift sporting a new pair of kicks more often. The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer has inked a deal for a multi-year partnership with Keds Footwear, which includes the release of limited edition red tennis shoes.

“I’ve been a fan of Keds for years, because they have two of my favorite elements of great style -- they’re classic and effortless. I remember wearing Keds as a little kid, while riding my bike around the farm," Swift shared in a statement. "When I got older, I started wearing them again. There’s something cool about shoes that you can grow up with."

The 22-year-old added, "I think they add something casual and cool to your look, and the new colors and patterns are so eclectic. I love pairing them with vintage looks."

Keds was first launched in 1916 with the introduction of the Champion sneaker. Since then, the once-shoe line has become a head-to-toe fashion brand. The shoe resurged in popularity in the mid-'80s through the '90s, when television stars like 'Saved by the Bell' character Kelly Kapowski, 'Full House' middle daughter Stephanie Tanner and '7th Heaven' character Lucy Camden all wore Keds on their respective shows. The shoe has now regained popularity again with its original Champion sneaker.

Swift's signature -- and appropriately-colored -- red Champions will be available at the singer's official website, plus a few retailers, on Oct. 22, the same day that her new album, 'Red' hits shelves.
