Take a Look Back at the Celebration on the River [PHOTOS]

On July 4th thousands of people took over the lawn outside of the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater as well as filling almost every seat inside!

The reason was for the annual Celebration on the River July 4th spectacular! We set up shop for most of the day with our friends at the Tuscaloosa PARA Kids Zone and let families and friends color a few patriotic pages.

Wild Bill and Monk handled emcee duties on stage, introducing Miss Alabama Kristen Furr, Tuscaloosa Mayor Walter Maddox, Northport Mayor Bobby Herndon, and more. Wild Bill even had the chance to wow the crowd with his lack of vocal ability before former American Idol contestant and Tuscaloosa native Casey Thrasher played a few original songs and an amazing version of Lee Greenwood's patriotic classic, God Bless the U.S.A.!
