James Horner, the brilliant Academy Award winning film composer who authored the scores for films such as Field of Dreams, Braveheart and Titanic has died in a plane crash. He was 61.
Horner was piloting the plane that crashed in California and his death was confirmed by his assistant Sylvia Patrycja who posted the following statement on Monday to his Facebook page:
