Summer Grilling

Every year Americans look forward to summer vacations, camping, family reunions, and picnics. Summertime, however, also brings fires and injuries due to outdoor cooking. Knowing a few fire safety tips and following instructions will help everyone have a safe summer.

Did you know that July is the peak month for grilling fires followed by May, June and August? It's true, each year nearly 9,000 home fires are caused by grilling.

As the days get longer and the temps outside start heating up, so does the backyard grill and this may be the coolest way to cook a burger... ever!
