We must remember that the staff of these "national chains" are local, Tuscaloosa or West Alabama residents as well. However, it is my duty to bring you an honest review of this drink. The drink is the best thing I have had in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at least up to this point.

Just recently we had news of the deer tick causing people to get seriously ill. Now, comes word from the CDC about the INVASIVE Asian long-horned tick. The tick has horns. HORNS! That should not ever happen.

Personally, I like odd. Strange, peculiar, bizarre, eccentric, freakish, quirky things. I think crazy people are happier than the rest of us. They don't know they are crazy. I have lived in Tuscaloosa, off and on, since 1988. I thought I knew lots about Tuscaloosa.

This is a true public service. We are helping you identify someone with a very good chance of being a jerk, or an idiot, or a schmuck. The driver next to you could be a complete you-know-what and how would you know it?

When I say "mega wealthy", I don't believe that accurately describes the kind of money we're talking about. These "products" sold to the rich and famous routinely cost more than ONE BILLION US DOLLARS! I don't think you can put it on "layaway". Just take a look at these photos.

West Alabama Works is hosting its annual WOW 2.0 event for seniors on April 10th from 9am until 1pm. The event will be held on the campus of Shelton State Community College with seniors attending from Bibb, Tuscaloosa, Hale, Sumter, Fayette, and Perry. WOW 2.0 is an effort to give graduating seniors a unique opportunity to meet representatives from 20 companies looking for employees.

I have to be careful here. For many, many reasons. I know someone that works for Tuscaloosa County, Alabama and gets to see birth certificates on a regular basis. She has always given me a rundown of some of the, well, uh, more unusual names.

That can not be right. A new Alabama law could put us normal, everyday grocery shoppers in an Alabama jail cell. Like behind bars jail cell? What is going on here? This is someone's idea of a bad joke. It has to be.
