The all female singing trio Sweet Tea (Victoria Camp, Savannah Coker and Kate Falcon) won the State Title for this year’s Annual Country Music Showdown Saturday in Cullman!

Friends of 95.3 The Bear, these ladies were with us last month at Billy's Sports Grill in Northport for 'Tips 4 Tuscaloosa!' Their harmonies will give you chill bumps! If you don't believe me, watch this.

This is not the first time Sweet Tea has been recognized for their talents. In September 2013 they won 1st Place at the Mid-South Fair in Southhaven, MS and the very next month were crowned the winners of 'Birmingham's Got Talent' just to name a few. These lovely ladies are a great choice to represent the state of Alabama.

To give you some background,

The Country Showdown is America's largest Country music talent show. It's designed to find the most promising country music talent in the nation and to give performers a chance to launch their professional music careers. The Country Showdown begins each spring with over 450 local talent contests sponsored by country music radio stations throughout the US. Winners advance to their respective State competitions held at leading fairs and venues. Acts then compete for a $1,000 prize, the State Title and the opportunity to advance to one of five Regional Finals. It’s the last step before the prestigious, televised National Final. The audience cheers on the Regional Winners, as they compete for the Grand Prize of $100,000 and the title of "Best New Act in Country Music."

Sweet Tea will travel to Live Oak, Florida on November 22nd to compete against other State Winners from the Southeastern part of the country. Good luck ladies!!
