How much do you really know about Bama's freshman QB Jalen Hurts?

We had not heard his voice until after the SEC Championship victory Saturday when Nick Saban temporarily lifted the ban on freshmen players doing interviews. I thought he would sound more like Barry White.

We've learned Jalen is always calm & stoic. He's the son of a coach. His dad was his high school football coach. Jalen can dead lift 600lbs. His mom is a Jr High teacher. Girls love his hair. And he loves to dance.The young Mr Hurts is 18 years old.

Nick Saban says "he's the most mature young person I've ever known".

We also know he will continue to lead his team to a national championship when Bama plays Washington in Atlanta on New Years Eve. That's a big stage for an 18 year old freshman. I have a feeling he will handle it just fine.
