Alabama has had it's fair share of bad weather but on November 22, 1874, a devastating tornado took a life that was not prepared to perish. Her name was Judith Winston.

Although Winston tried to take cover, she was crushed under a pile of debris and died shortly after her sons retrieved her from under the rubble. Ever since her death, the Winston house has experience some strange paranormal activity.

One incident occurred while a soon-to-be bride was prepared for her wedding and peculiar force was shaking the chairs that were set up for the ceremony. After cordially "inviting" the spirit to the wedding, the rattling stopped. Also, the ghost of Mrs. Winston supposedly "weeps" through the walls, causing quite a mess, whenever a storm is approaching.
