If you're like Scott Shepherd (and myself) then you hate physically talking to people. Text messaging, email, sky writing and even messages sent through birds is okay but talking to people on the phone is one of our least favorite activities to do.

It's not that we don't love people (in general) but phone conversations can quickly become messy and entangled. 'Hey...how are you doing?' 'What's been going on. We haven't talked in a while...', 'Well, I guess I'm going to let you go...'.

It's just too much.

Thankfully, Slydial exists which allows you to call people, bypass them completely to arrive straight in their voice mail. You can leave a message and say with all truthfulness 'but I left you a message' if they ever accuse you of not calling them back.
