You've probably heard someone tell you Alabama players are a bust in the NFL. Those people aren't going to like this year's Pro Bowl announcement.

The NFL selected its 2017 Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday and The University of Alabama had more players picked than any other school in the country. A total of six Crimson Tide athletes will take part in the game on January 29. Those players include:

  • Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (S, Green Bay Packers)
  • Landon Collins (S, New York Giants)
  • Amari Cooper (WR, Oakland Raiders)
  • Dont'a Hightower (LB, New England Patriots)
  • Julio Jones (LB, Atlanta Falcons)
  • C.J. Mosley (LB, Baltimore Ravens)

Along with that group, Tennessee Titans fullback Jalston Fowler was also named an alternate on the AFC roster.

Six Pro Bowl players sets a new school record for Alabama. The previous high in a single season was four, which happened in 1984 and 2014.
