Sipsey Valley High School Angler Team Takes First At Lake Eufaula

8th graders Austin Adcox and Wyatt Hamner had a lot riding on the line ahead of the 5th qualifier of the Alabama B.A.S.S Nation High School Team.

Competing against 184 other boats, the Adcox/Hamner team knew a lot was riding on results of the final competition before the State championships in June. They were hoping to maintain their lead with a good finish without eroding too much of their 29 point lead. In the end, the 13 and 14-year old duo would not only maintain their lead, but stretch their domination. Official results are expected tomorrow but some estimates suggest the Sipsey Valley High School team could lead by triple digits.

Now they look ahead to June for the Alabama B.A.S.S Nation High School Team State Championship at Lake Wheeler then it's on to the National Championships.
