Last February, the world gasped as a 40-foot sinkhole appeared in the floor of the National Corvette Museum and swallowed up eight iconic (and very expensive) Chevrolet Corvettes.

One of the eight damaged was the 1,000,000 Corvette produced by Chevrolet. Valued at $750,000, General Motors vowed to restore the car to it's former pristine state.

1200 man hours and $30,000 later, the 1992 convertible roadster has returned to the showroom floor.
