The Walking Dead premiered last night, which means I had my annual fight on Facebook. Should social media be kept spoiler-free?

I say no. I understand we all have different schedules. (You're talking to someone who literally wakes up at 3:30 a.m. every day which means I pass out at like 8 p.m.--I never get to watch ANYTHING when it originally airs.) Times have changed, and technology gives us the option to watch our fave shows when it works for us, BUT...

Hard-core fans are still going to tune in to the season premiere or finale when it airs. After they watch the show, they want to talk about what went down. That's just the way it is. Your not watching the premiere doesn't mean that people should not talk about their favorite shows.

Let me put it this way: before DVR and On Demand technology and social media was available, people used to watch a show and talk about it at work the next day. If you didn't want to hear your co-workers run their mouths, you just stayed at your desk. That's the way it worked then and that's the way it should work now.

If you don't want to see spoilers, just stay off Facebook. Get over it. Sorry if that makes you mad, but that's life.
