Central High, Students Are Safe

BREAKING: 1/18/18 3pm: Central High School went on lockdown after a man was seen on campus with a gun at the school. The scene is safe, no students we're involved in this domestic incident in Tuscaloosa. A suspect has been arrested and the victim was beaten with the gun. 3:30pm Statement from Tuscaloosa City Schools:
Central High School is on a closed campus due to an incident that happened around 2:30 p.m. on the cut through road between the parking lot and the athletic complex. According to police, the incident did not involve students. The suspects are now in custody. As a safety measure, the building was secured while TPD wrapped up the situation.
