Shenandoah vocalist Marty Raybon will be playing the fundraising concert "Stress on the Strings" at the Shepherd Hill Opry on Friday, June 19th.

Marty Raybon was vocalist for Shenandoah from 1985-1997 and then again rejoined the band in 2014. Among his contemporaries, he is considered to possess one the purest, natural country voices in the business.

Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts calls Raybon,

The greatest singer on the planet to this day!

"Long Black Train" vocalist Josh turner has said,

Marty is one of the best soul singers in music. He gets inside a song and turns it inside out. When you listen to him sing, he makes every word sound important and makes you feel as though he is singing straight to you. I love everything he’s done. He’s a great singer, a great artist, and a great man.

"Stress on the Strings" will start at 6 pm on June 19th and will also feature songwriter Clinton Gregory. Tickets are on sale now for $15 and will be $20 on the day of the show. Net proceeds will benefit Johnny Williamson Good Shepherd Foundation & The Little Closet Food Pantry. Kids under 15 admitted free.

The Shepherd Hill Opry is located on Fondren Road behind The Good Shepherd statue on Highway 43 North in Samantha, AL, between mile markers 216 and 217.
