In an era of college football where RPOs, hurry-up offenses, and high-scoring games are the norm, Saturday's meeting between Alabama and Arkansas is a bit of a rarity. These are two programs that pride themselves on strong, physical fronts and aren't afraid to play power football.

That's what makes this SEC West matchup one that both teams look forward to each year even though Alabama has run off eight straight victories.

"They're a physical team. The kind of team we like playing against," linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton said. "We just got to come out and strike up front, and everybody just got to play assignment football."

The Crimson Tide defense will face an offense that averages more than 440 yards per game and ranks second in the conference with an average time of possession of 34:25 every game.

"They've got a big offensive line. It's going to be a good, hard-fought game so we gotta eat our Wheaties this weekend. Be ready to play some physical football."

Saturday's meeting will feature top-ranked Alabama and 16th-ranked Arkansas under the lights. The game kicks off at 6PM on ESPN.
