Another round of severe storms could impact Alabama this afternoon and this evening. The National Weather Service forecast calls for storms to develop between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m; strong winds and large hail are possible with these thunderstorms. Isolated tornadoes could develop, too.

In our listening area, the greatest chance for severe weather will be south of Demopolis and Selma. This area is shaded orange in the NWS graph above. Severe weather is possible across the entire state of Alabama.
