Severe Storms Likely in Alabama Tomorrow
All of Alabama could be impacted by severe storms tomorrow. There is a chance for damaging winds, flooding, and tornadoes with this system. More about tomorrow’s forecast and the projected timing for these storms is after the jump.
ABC 33/40 Chief Meteorologist James Spann forecasts the storms to impact West Alabama from approximately 11am to 3pm tomorrow. On the ABC 33/40 Weather Blog Spann writes, “After a review of the [...] data… looks like we will need to hit the tornado threat a little harder for tomorrow, especially over the eastern two-thirds of Alabama.”
The latest SPC Outlook from the National Weather Service’s Storm prediction center shows most of Alabama with a 30%-45% chance of a severe weather event in any given area.
