Severe storms are possible tomorrow as a cold front makes its way across Alabama tomorrow; threats include damaging winds, hail, and even tornadoes.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has placed much of the state in a limited risk area tomorrow; the forecast for Tuscaloosa calls for a near 100% chance of rain. At this time, storms are expected to develop between 12 noon and 10 p.m. Tornadoes are possible along with quarter size hail; the primary threat from this storm system may be damaging straight line winds in excess of 60 MPH.

Rain totals will be between 1/2 and 1 inch, so no flooding issues are currently anticipated.
