We are visiting 16 years in the past today. The Coen Brother's film O Brother, Where Art Thou had a multi-platinum selling soundtrack featuring a song with lead vocals from Dan Tyminski.

"Man of Constant Sorrow" was first published in 1913 by Dick Burnett. The song was a central part of the plot of "O Brother" as George Clooney's character introduced us to the song while "singing in a can" as the Soggy Bottom Boys.

It survived the decades and won a Grammy for Best Country Collaboration at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in 2002.
