Alabama's coaching staff appears to be filling out after another hire was reportedly made this week.

Josh Gattis, who has served as Penn State's wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator since 2014, will join Nick Saban's staff in the same role but will add the title of co-offensive coordinator, according to Football Scoop. He would serve in that position alongside offensive coordinator Mike Locksley. Neither role has been confirmed by the university at this time.

Gattis would bring a strong recruiting background along with his offensive experience. The 34-year-old is ranked 14th nationally in 247Sports recruiting rankings after landing six recruits this year. His most notable recruiting effort was landing five-star wide receiver Justin Shorter.

It appears that Gattis is already turning his attention to three of the top Alabama wide receiver targets for the 2018 class. You'll see on his Twitter account that he's following Justyn Ross, Jacob Copeland, and Jaylen Waddle.

It's clear to see that Saban's priority for filling out his staff vacancies has been to get younger coaches with a strong recruiting presence and it appears to be working out well.
