ReadBAMARead + Kiwanis Club of Greater Tuscaloosa Fundraiser Tonight

ReadBAMARead and The Kiwanis of Greater Tuscaloosa are holding a fundraiser tonight from 5:30-8:30 in the Merchant Walk Parking Lot! Look for the big white tent, and you know you'll be in the right spot!

First and foremost, eat at Ruby Tuesday's tonight and a percent of proceeds will go back to ReadBAMARead! Also, bring the entire family and let your children bring a book along with them because a VERY special guests will be in attendance to read with!

Okay, Vinnie Sunseri will be on hand to read tonight! Roll Tide!

If your family forgets a book, the Literacy Council of West Alabama will have one there for you.

Other guest will include members of the UA Gymnastics team!

Also, ReadBAMARead and The Kiwanis Club will have information on their organizations, the Tuscaloosa Half Marathon, Children's Half Marathon and Fun Run on site - since they are the beneficiaries of the 2nd Annual Tuscaloosa Half Marathon.

Anyone who stops by the tent and registers before Nov. 21^st will be eligible for prizes that the two organizations also have. Winners do not have to be present.

Lastly, if you eat at Zoe's tonight before 9p be sure to mention that you want your receipt to go towards ReadBAMARead.
