A few mornings ago, Scott Shepherd and I asked what old school country songs make you want to roll the windows down, crank up the volume and violate a few noise ordinances. From the moment we first posed the question, the phones never stopped ringing. In addition to the usual suspects like Hank Jr. and George, we were reminded of some great country songs like 'Tulsa Time' by Don Williams, 'I've Always Been Crazy' by Waylon and 'Copperhead Road' by Steve Earle.

Don't you love being reminded of a great song you haven't thought about in years but the second you do, memories come flooding back?

Patsy Cline's 'Walking After Midnight' always reminds me of my mother because she would belt this song out all the time and attempt to mimic the 'yodel-esque' bridge. Any song of Cline's also reminds me of my best friend Marsha because she and I watched 'Sweet Dreams', a biopic featuring Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline, over and over and over.

While 'Walking After Midnight' might not result in rolling my windows down, it definitely makes me crank up the volume.

What song makes you want to drop the ragtop and take a trip backwards through time?
