Rachel Lipsky Crowned 2014 Pepsi Southern Original Winner

Remember that lady who opened up the Main Stage at Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam the night Blake Shelton performed? That was 2014 Pepsi Southern Original Winner Rachel Lipsky!

Rachel first caught the Pepsi Southern Original judges' attention while hanging out with 95.3 The Bear on August 1st at 4th & 23rd when she battled head to head with the other contestants.

After being selected the night's winner, Lipsky moved on to the finals in Panama City Beach where she wooed the audience and judges alike with her raw talent and natural stage presence. After intense deliberation the final selection was made and Rachel Lipsky was crowned the 2014 Pepsi Southern Original Winner at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Panama City Beach, FL.

Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam executive producer Rendy Lovelady said,

This year we had close to 6,000 submissions for the Pepsi Southern Original. Winning the competition is a big deal and we are looking forward to our upcoming involvement in Rachel's career.

Performing at Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam is only one part of winning the Pepsi Southern Original. Rachel will also be recording at Castle Recording Studios in Franklin, TN and shooting a music video shortly thereafter.
