Fall is finally here, and that means it's time to hit the pumpkin patch! Tuscaloosa Barnyard, located at 11453 Turner Bridge Road in Tuscaloosa, will offer a hayride and pumpkin patch to families who visit the farm September 18 through November 15, 2015. Kids can also enjoy the playground, pony rides, and more.

Griffin Farms Pumpkin Patch, located at 826 Griffin Road in West Blocton, will open September 26 and be open each weekend in October. Families who visit the pumpkin patch can enjoy hayrides, a corn maze, a petting zoo, a zipline, and many more activities.

The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden will be open weekends beginning September 26 through November 1. Kids will love their new "jumpin' pumpkin" and super slides, and the family can also enjoy hayrides, train rides, a petting zoo, and much more.

Faye Whittmore Farms in Jasper will be open each weekend in October. Families who visit the pumpkin patch can also check out a petting zoo, hay maze, moonwalk, obstacle course, and playground.

The Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera will host a pumpkin patch each weekend in October. The Pumpkin Patch Express allows families to take a scenic train ride through the Shelby County countryside; visitors can also check out their inflatable bounce houses and other family activities before picking their perfect pumpkin.

 St. Matthias Episcopal Church will host a pumpkin patch to benefit its outreach ministries. The pumpkin patch will be held at the church, located at 2310 Skyland Boulevard, and is open October 10 through 31.
