Plane Crash in Foley, AL Caught on Camera [VIDEO]

It was business as usual at Little Bitty Towing in Foley, AL on Tuesday afternoon until a twin engine Cessna airplane crashed into the trees outside.

The crash happened just after takeoff and surveillance cameras at the towing company caught the dramatic action of the plane coming to rest in a tree and then catching fire.

Perdido Key resident Russell Smith was piloting the small plane and luckily escaped with only minor injuries.

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating the crash.
