‘Pints with a Purpose’ Thursday to Benefit Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger Food Drive

Our friends at Black Warrior Brewing are holding their monthly ‘Pints with a Purpose’ fundraiser Thursday with proceeds going to Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger.

20% of today’s in house sales at Black Warrior will go to the Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger (BABH) food drive. That means if you stop by and have a beer, 20% will go to them. If you buy a t-shirt, pint glass, dog food made with spent grain, beer soap, etc., 20% goes to support BABH!

BABH’ is an annual competition between the University of Alabama and University of Auburn to help raise money for local food pantries. Monies raised by Alabama go to the West Alabama Food Bank whose mission is to solicit, collect, inspect, clean, process, warehouse, and distribute surplus, salvageable, and donated food and to redistribute that food to participating agencies that serve the needy.

Doors open at 4 pm Thursday with live music starting at 6:30! Black Warrior Brewing is located on University Blvd., across from Children’s Hands On Museum.
