Our First Year of Dixie Youth is Over

Brody finished up his first year of Dixie Youth Baseball last night. We (The Red Sox) lost our second game in the tournament playing the Braves. All in all it was a good season.

I honestly don't remember how many games we won or lost. The kids don't remember either I bet.  We had a group of fine coaches. Jamie Lee was head coach and his dad Mr. William Lee helped out.The other coaches, Tristen, Tony, Bill, Allison and Anna were great too. It's a JOB keeping a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds straight in the dugout!

The trophies were handed out last night. There were a lot of excited kids! They each got a "gameball" and had chips and Gatorade after. Brody said "this is the best day ever!"

There will be a camp out for the kids in June that Brody is excited about. I'm looking forward to next year! Thanks to all at Cottondale Dixie Youth!
