NorthRiver Yacht Club Sold

It's official, NorthRiver Yacht Club has been sold to a group involving a national golf course management and development company.  NorthRiver Yacht Club has partnered with the University of Alabama and will now serve as a training center for college students.

In September, the Westervelt Co.’s board of directors met with Troon/Honours Golf, which has been overseeing the management of the golf course and thats when talks really got going.

Troon announced Thursday according to Jason Morton's story in the Tuscaloosa News that the sale was complete.  Sadly, the terms/price of the sale were not disclosed.
