Marie Sudduth Thomas, a Northport woman aged 60, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault Monday after being accused of pouring a pot of boiling water onto a man, scalding his genitals and left thigh.

According to the Tuscaloosa News, the victim, 58, told officers he was sitting on the couch at a Northport residence when Thomas said she was about to scald him.

He told police he was actually leaving when she threw that hot water through a screen door severely burning his "95.3 The Bear." (edited for younger viewers)

Thomas told investigators it was an accident, and initially pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison, but after all the excitement the hard sentence shrunk to only 3 months of probation. #WildBillShow
