The North Shore Animal League America’s 2014 Tour For Life is the world’s largest national cooperative life-saving mobile pet adoption event and it's coming to T-Town.

The concept for the tour was conceived fourteen years ago by Animal League America – the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization. In partnership with PURINA ONE®, Tour for Life is aimed at reinforcing the importance and advantages of shelter pet adoptions and familiarizing communities with their local shelter.

The tour will make a stop at the University Mall parking lot in Tuscaloosa on Thursday, April 3rd and will be operating from 2p-7p. They're partnering with Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter for a special life-saving event.

In addition to having adoptable shelter dogs, cats, puppies and kittens the event will also offer information on the benefits of adopting shelter pets, behavioral education, and special services available to pet owners at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. A Spay/Neuter Clinic based in Birmingham will also be participating in the event.
