Outlaw country singer-songwriter Nikki Lane has shared a music video for her song “Jackpot.” The tune comes from her forthcoming third studio album, Highway Queen, set for release on New West Records.
In the “Jackpot” video — which was directed by Chris Phelps, executive produced by Darin Feinstein and produced by Roxie Amoroso — Lane explores Las Vegas: She sells her guitar for $200, gets lucky at a casino … and then does possibly the most “Sin City” thing possible and gets married by an Elvis impersonator.
“Viva Las Vegas, Atlantic City rendezvous / Weekend in Reno, late-night casino / I’ll go anywhere with you,” Lane sings in the chorus of “Jackpot.” “Rollin’ down the Mississippi, livin’ us a riverboat dream / Playin’ the wildcard / Life ain’t been too hard since you ran away with me.”

“Making music videos is all about living out my quirky dreams. For this one, I convinced my label to fund a trip to Vegas,” Lane tells Billboard. ““It was a perfect concept … and we were able to pull off all sorts of fun on our little shoestring budget.”
Highway Queen is due out on Feb. 17. Lane co-produced the project with fellow singer-songwriter Jonathan Tyler; it was recorded in both Texas and Tennessee with members of the Texas Gentlemen band.
