Last year Bama lost to Auburn and some feel the revenge factor is the best way to motivate, but Saban says he doesn't think it's the best form of motivation.  “I think the players all know what happened last year.  I think they don’t feel great about it. They didn’t feel good about it last year. They’ve had to live with it for 365 days. I don’t necessarily think that the revenge factor is the best form of motivation out there, but I certainly think it can play into a guy who’s a good competitor and wants to come back and play well if he didn’t play well the last time.  I do feel like there are a lot of other things that are factors this year that this team can accomplish. … I think everybody understands the importance of what happens last year and what we can accomplish.”

Deonte Brown (turf toe) is practicing today. (monday)

Alex Leatherwood (ankle) is will be held out of practice today and should return by Wednesday as he progresses.  Looking better today....

Damien Harris (concussion) will be held out today, but he's made "really good progress" and hopes he returns this week after clearance from doctors.
