In 2009, I was given the amazing opportunity to ride with the Blue Angels on the Fat Albert. I was more than a little nervous but three things stand out from that day: looking out of the window and seeing the ground only to realize we were flying on our side, watching a flight crew member hold on to a ladder rung before going airborne like Superman and how bad I feel for the poor man sitting beside me.
