Moundville’s Christmas Day Shooting leaves a 9 year old with no parents

It was a terrible Christmas Day shooting in Moundville that echoed thru the Tuscaloosa area this year.  Loved ones are still trying to make sense of why Tamiesure Minter Vanhorn's husband Tyrone Vanhorn would shoot his own wife in their Cedar Bend mobile home according to WBRC news.

She was airlifted to DCH Regional Medical Center early Christmas morning where she later died, leaving her family heartbroken.  Family members say the violence lasted at least nine years, physical and emotional abuse constantly existed from Vanhorn.

A cousin named Alethia Minter said, "We will teach this child how to love like her mother loved and that was to no end."  More with Don Hartley on today's Wild Bill Show on 95.3 The Bear at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30pm Tuesday.
