When we made the announcement about Mike and Frank from American Pickers coming to Tuscaloosa last week, folks lost their minds!

Well, we've got a little more information about their visit this time around and thought we'd share. Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are planning to film episodes of the hit series American Pickers throughout the region this winter.

For anyone who doesn't know, American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the world of antique ‘picking’ on History. The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

On the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics and meet a few interesting characters along the way.

Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.

Although I couldn't get my contact at History to give me an exact date, I do know for sure that guys and their crew will be here sometime during winter.

Do you or someone you know have a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through? If so, send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-old-rust.
