Monk’s Photo Recap of America On Tap Beer Festival in Tuscaloosa

America On Tap Beer Festival was a complete success with hundreds of craft beer lovers taking over Government Plaza Saturday to quench their thirst!

My day started out by getting the grounds together for the vendors, distributors and breweries but my day ended with my mingling with those attending and sampling some of the best craft beers in the country and the world.

As a lover of the craft, I find it hard to say that any of the beers on site weren't up to par but easier to list a few favorites that definitely stood out. My top three were Tuscaloosa's newest brewery Band of Brothers' IPA, Black Warrior Brewing's Bourbon Barrel Brown (aged in Jack Daniels Whiskey barrels) and Horny Goat's Apple Brown Ale.

Over 100 different beers were up for sampling and despite a late afternoon rain and a little mud, the atmosphere was exciting and the live music from Plato Jones hit the spot!
